Handbuilding Ceramic Course
Learn the basics of handbuilding and design your own ceramic pieces.
You will work with a speckled bone-white clay and go through the techniques of coil building, pinching and slab building.
In addition to a new experience, you will get a durable dishwasher-safe stoneware pieces.

Details
I’ll teach you all the steps to make a handbuilt ceramic pieces which you will take home with you after firing (within one month after the class).
A beginner-friendly workshop that teaches the basics of creating objects out of clay using hands and simple tools. You’ll learn pinching,slab and coil building techniques when making your own mug or bowl and vase. You will also learn how to make different textures with carving or stamping with the pieces from nature.
3rd ocassion is reserved for decorating your pieces made at the first two ocassions. You will learn how to use ceramic pencil, underglaze colors, oxides and glazes.
The workshop will be organized for only 1 to 2 persons in my small backyard studio.
No prior knowledge or experience with ceramics is needed.
The course will be held in English.

1 kg speckled bone-white clay (after that, SEK 80/kg which includes glaze and firing)
