My Journey to Sustainability

From the very beginning, I aimed to reduce my impact on the planet in any way possible. The first task was to source sustainable materials for packing my ceramic pieces. Since ceramics need to be adequately protected in transport, every piece of packaging material I sourced plays a very important role in the whole process. 

I am so pleased to use recyclable and reusable packaging for my ceramics because it is a far more sustainable option than plastics and its synthetic counterparts. I make sure to additionally protect all my parcels by double boxing, since postal workers do not handle them carefully. 

I seek to lighten my carbon footprint in the following ways:

• Double-wrapping each ceramic piece with kraft paper instead of bubble wrap.
• Using kraft paper tape instead of plastic tape.
• Reusing and repurposing different types of boxes and fillings.

Of course, reducing the environmental impact is an ongoing process; but lots of small steps indeed make a big difference for our planet.
