Good evening my dear!
The first real warmth of the sun always feels like a quiet celebration.
After the long Swedish winter, where days are short, the air is crisp, and everything moves a little slower, spring arrives like a breath of fresh air. The light lingers, the world softens, and suddenly, color starts creeping back into life.
In the studio, this shift always finds its way into my work. This time, it led to new floral mugs, decorations made by the longing for warmth, sunlight, and the first signs of spring.
One sunny day, as light poured through the window, I sat completely taken by the sun, letting it warm my face after months of grey skies. With that feeling, I picked up my brush and started painting. No plan, no sketches, just freely brushing flowers onto each mug, as if capturing that very moment of light and renewal. It was one of those rare, effortless days where everything flows, and I think that energy lingers in these pieces.
