This little bird is shaped by hand and made to hang on the wall. Alone, it feels intimate. Together, in a set of two or three, they become a small flock, resting gently in your space.
A subtle reminder of nature.
Of air and sky.
Of slowing down.
The sculpture is handmade and unique, created in the Japanese Raku tradition, where fire, air, water and clay meet in a dramatic process. Fired to approximately 900°C and rapidly cooled, the glaze develops characteristic crackling, while the reduction process creates deep tones with shades of grey.
Made from stoneware clay, the bird measures approximately 12 x 13 cm. It has a hole on the back for hanging and is signed with the Planina logo.

Because each piece is made with patience and love, no two birds are ever the same. You’ll receive the exact bird in the photo, with its natural, textured surface and charming imperfections that highlight the handmade process. Fired at 1230°C, it’s strong and durable.
