Ceremonial cups made from red clay

Amidst the chaos of our modern lives, there’s something magical about slowing down and embracing rituals. They provide us with a profound sense of meaning, allowing us to anchor ourselves in a world that feels overwhelming.

There is something magical about using a handmade cup during a ceremony that draws people in and creates a unique connection that’s hard to describe.
I felt and witnessed it myself and decided to made my new ceremonial cups for you.

The cup is handmade with a pinch technique from brick-red clay, inside is glazed with a glossy white food safe glaze, and on the outside decorated with white brush sign. The cup has a special texture that will further awaken your senses. It has my sign at the unglazed bottom and the rim of each cup is irregularly shaped.

Approximate size of each cup is 250 ml up to the top.

Please remember that these aren’t mass-produced ceramics - each cup is unique, made with special patience and you cannot find two exactly the same cups in my Studio. That's the beauty of handmade!

Due to the handmade process, the surface is uneven and natural-looking; small imperfections are a welcome addition to my work. The cup is made from stoneware clay and fired at 1230°C. It is food safe, strong and durable, so you can enjoy using it every day. It is dishwasher safe, but hand wash is recommended.
